There’s nothing better for business than a satisfied customer. In this course, we’ll enhance your business qualifications, prepare you for your own business career, and provide the skills to keep your customers happy.
This six-month program develops your knowledge in foundational subjects such as marketing, economics and organizational behavior.
The Graduate Certificate in Business also opens the door to postgraduate study, including the Master of Business Administration. Students who complete the Graduate Certificate in Business are awarded advanced standing of four units.
Major areas of study
Students study four core units of the Master of Business Administration covering foundation business subjects in accounting, economics, communication and organisational behaviour as part of the Graduate Certificate in Business.
Teaching methods
On-campus students experience a variety of teaching approaches including lectures, tutorials, online activities and podcast virtual classes. The method of teaching may vary from unit to unit.
Lectures may be streamed live or pre-recorded; either way students can download a recording at their convenience.
Each week, students progress their learning by following activities, readings and case studies laid out, step-by-step, in a website for each unit. As they move through the learning outcomes, they can discuss their progress in online forums and ask questions of their peers, lecturer or tutor.
Career opportunities
Graduates are equipped to undertake entry-level management roles in a broad spectrum of industries.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualification equivalent to an Australian Bachelor degree.
Applicants must have IELTS – 6.5 with no band less than 6.0; CAE – 58; TOEFL PBT – 570 min 5.0 (TWE); TOEFL iBT – 79 with no less than 21 in writing and 20 in other areas; PTE – 58 with no communicative score less than 50; ISPLR – 4 in all 4 skill areas.
