COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Master of Medical Physics program provides specialist postgraduate training in the application of radiation physics, artificial intelligence, dosimetry, imaging, radiobiology and radiation protection for a range of medical conditions including cancer.
Who is it for?
The Master of Medical Physics will set you on the path to becoming a clinical medical physicist. This entry-level qualification will give you the foundation knowledge to work within a clinical setting across areas of medicine including cancer treatment, diagnostic imaging, and health physics.
Career paths
The Master of Medical Physics provides the entry level qualification for trainee medical physicists working in a hospital medical physics department.
Graduates of our program are also employed in the following areas:
dosimetry (standard laboratories)
radiation protection agencies
industry and health-related government departments
