Undertake this Graduate Certificate to get a taste of the Master of Modern Languages Education and gain a Languages Teaching specialisation to teach in schools. Explore the nature of language and its role in human learning and expression and, at the same time, develop your communication skills and intercultural awareness.

Course structure
6 months full time or 1 year part time
50 points of coursework, comprising 4 x specialist core subjects:
After successfully completing this course you will be eligible for 50 credit points towards the Master of Modern Languages Education, as well as other master courses.
Graduates with Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT) registration will be eligible to apply for Language teaching positions within Victorian schools. You’ll finish the course with the ability to critique and manage language curricular and resources which are culturally and linguistically appropriate. In the wider education field, you’ll be able to promote social justice, employability, career awareness, wellbeing and citizenship through educational policy and practice. Industry connections
