COURSE DESCRIPTION
Data is a powerful raw material for business analytics, but ensuring data quality is critical to success. This Melbourne MicroCert is ideal for mid to late-career ICT professionals who want the tools, knowledge and strategic perspective to more effectively manage data quality and integration within an organisation. Discover how to source and prepare data: Explore how data should be sourced and fed into data stores. Investigate the intricacies of sourcing, moving and preparing data for analytics, and discuss the tools and critical success factors for effective data integration. Understand how to ensure data quality: Understand the importance of data quality and how your organisation can set targets to ensure you get it right. Explore tools and frameworks for managing data quality, and examine how data governance can contribute to better outcomes. Develop a data strategy for an organisation: Using your new knowledge, you’ll develop a strategy that briefs staff on the progressive use of an organisation’s data for analytics.
