COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is designed to provide you with all the technical and non-technical skills to fly a multi engine aeroplane solely by reference to instruments in a variety of weather conditions. Within 17 weeks you’ll well on the road to becoming a highly sought after commercial pilot, capable of gaining employment in a variety of flying roles.

Mastering the aeroplane’s instruments and obtaining an Instrument Rating will allow you to act as Pilot in Command (PIC) for departure, flight, and arrival without visual reference in marginal weather and low light conditions under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR). Being able to fly regardless of (almost all) conditions greatly increases your pilot career options.

During the course of your training you will learn about human factors impacting on instrument flight, to operate aircraft systems, and the planning and conduct of an IFR flight including performing instrument departures, arrivals and approaches.
