COURSE DESCRIPTION

This associate degree has been designed in collaboration with the football industry so you can rest assured that the content and outcomes are industry relevant and sought after. The classes are taught by industry experts and revolve around real-life case studies of football professionals, clubs, and organisations. Work-integrated learning placements are a key aspect of this course and you will experience a minimum of 110 hours of placements in football environments.

We know that you value flexibility. This course is designed to be flexible and can be studied through a combination of on-campus, online, and blended delivery. The final year of the course has been designed so it can be studied while completing a domestic or international placement.

You will be assessed through real-world activities and through a combination of practical and theory-based tasks.

Course Structure

The full time course structure for the Associate Degree of Football (Development, Management and Performance)

The Associate Degree of Football (Development, Management and Performance) can be completed in two years of full-time study. The course program is divided into four semesters, each of 12 weeks’ duration. Study involves approximately 12 contact hours a week (excluding examination and study weeks).

REQUIREMENTS

If English is not your first language, you can demonstrate English Proficiency by:

  • Academic IELTS overall score of at least 6.5, with a minimum 6.0 in each of the reading, writing, listening and speaking subtests.
  • TOEFL iBT with a minimum of 85 overall and a minimum of 22 for writing. TOEFL paper based test scores are not accepted.
