The Bachelor of Game Design is perfect for students who want to understand the tools, cultural contexts, and design pillars to become creative game design professionals.
Experiment and explore game design as a creative practice, diving into the concept of play while developing your critical thinking around ethical and cultural debates in the gaming industry. You’ll get the chance to playtest your skills throughout your studies, tie up what you’ve learned by producing a game design project, and develop your professional portfolio or complete 60 hours of industry placement.
The Bachelor degree can be completed in accelerated mode over six trimesters (2 years) or standard mode over nine trimesters (3 years) of full-time study.

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be at least 18-years-old at course commencement
Successful completion of a senior secondary school certificate equivalent to Australian Year 12
ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Our English requirement is an overall IELTS score of 6.0 (with no single band score below 6.0) for all the courses, except Entertainment Journalism and Creative Writing, where students are required to have an overall IELTS score of 6.5 (with no single band score below 6.0)
