COURSE DESCRIPTION
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design, and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.
This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability. The job roles that relate to this qualification may also include RTO Manager and RTO Director.
Qualifications:
Upon the successful completion of all Units of Competency for this qualification participants will be issued with a BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning). For partial completion of this qualification, students will be issued with a Statement of Attainment indicating completed Units of Competency.

The Diploma of Business reflects the role of individuals in a variety of Business Services job roles.

Pathways from the qualification:
Completion of the BSB80120 Graduate Diploma of Management (Learning) will lay a foundation for successful students to progress into the following Qualification:
BSB80215 Graduate Diploma of Strategic Leadership
Masters of Business Administration
Any other relevant Masters Degree
Note: Study pathways may include qualifications or courses that may not be offered at SLIT.
The course duration is:
52 Weeks of Course duration consisting of:
42 Weeks of scheduled study/tuition (4 Terms of 10 Weeks, last term 2 weeks)
10 Weeks of scheduled breaks/holidays.
Notes:
A minimum of 20 contact hours per week of study/tuition have been scheduled by SLIT – to ensure students meet their student study Visa conditions The course duration may vary for students who have been granted credits or RPL towards this course (e.g., students having completed any units in a previous course/qualification).

Students must be over 18 years of age
English Language Requirements For International Students:
Student must demonstrate proficiency in English and must hold one of the following that is no older than 2 years as of date of application:
IELTS band score of overall 5.5 (Academic or General) or equivalent in line Department of Home Affairs requirements for International Students on a Student Visa or
IELTS overall band score of 5 when packaged with at least 10 weeks’ English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS), or
IELTS overall band score of 4.5 when packaged with at least 20 weeks’ ELICOS or
Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE) Score 42
Cambridge English: Advanced CAE from Cambridge ESOL Test Scores
TOEFL Test of English as a Foreign Language paper-based test Score 527
TOEFL Test of English as a Foreign Language internet-based test Score 46
CELS (all skills) Upper intermediate (English for Academic purposes) certificate from recognised English language centre
Academic Requirements:
There are no formal prerequisites required to enter this qualification. However, students must have:
Be at least 18 years of age and have completed Year 12 or equivalent
Must have completed an Australian Qualification or equivalent AQF level 4, 5, 6 or 7. (All qualifications should preferably be Australian issued and meet AQF requirements) or
Mature Age students will also be considered without the minimum education requirements providing they have relevant work experience within the chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet the course requirements. A minimum of 5 years’ experience would normally be expected; however, each case will be reviewed individually with relevant work experience evidence in the form of an employment reference letter on company letterhead, work samples and curriculum vitae submitted will be considered.
