COURSE DESCRIPTION
Content creation is a key skill for social media advertising and marketing.
A content creator produces and publishes text, photos and videos designed to promote businesses, products or services, to social media and digital platforms, to grow an audience, build brand awareness and increase sales.
But content creation is not just one skill, so United Pop have designed a course that incorporates a variety of skills and techniques that will ensure you have what it takes to get a job in this exciting and growing area.
TRAINING OUTCOMES
Trimester One
Foundation
An introduction to the basic skills required to start your career in
video production.
You will learn how to:
- Shoot and edit video for social media
- Develop digital imaging skills
- Design and apply make-up for screen
- Safely manage a production
Trimester Two
Visual Storyteller
You will learn how to:
- Produce storyboards for planning and collaboration
- Create titles and graphics for film and video
- Produce a creative project
- Enhance your knowledge of the creative industries
Trimester Three
Production
You will learn how to:
- Produce professional standard videos
- Refine and develop your style
- Start a freelance business
- Develop and edit sound designs
REQUIREMENTS
This course is available to International Students who are able to provide evidence that they:
- Are over the age of 18.
- Have completed year 12 or equivalent.
- Have completed Year 12 English at an Australian secondary school or college, or equivalent.
- If you have completed a qualification where English was the primary language of instruction, you may be eligible for an English language exemption.
- IELTS, TOEFL, PTE and CAE: These tests must be taken no more than two years prior to application.
Meet one of the following English proficiency requirements:
- a valid IELTS score of 5.5 or other minimum test scores indicated here
- that they have successfully completed their Year 12 or equivalent in English Language.
