COURSE DESCRIPTION

Build a comprehensive understanding of Commercial Cookery. Enhance your knowledge of management in the hospitality industry, learning the skills to become a qualified cook, commis chef, manager or owner operator.

With this course, you’ll gain an in-depth understanding of kitchen management, finance management and team management to prepare you for a leadership role at any food establishment or culinary institution.

REQUIREMENTS

Cambridge Overseas School Certificate or GCE O levels with credit average in 3 subjects.

English language requirements

International students must have a good command of written and spoken English. William Angliss Institute English Language entry requirements must be demonstrated by ONE of the following:

  • IELTS (Academic Module) – 5.5 (no band less than 5.0)
  • TOEFL iBT (Internet-Based) – Overall score of 50 (with a minimum score of 5 in Reading, 5 in Listening, 14 in Speaking and 15 in Writing)
  • FCE (B2 First) – 162 with no less than 154 in any component
  • CAE (C1 Advanced) – 162 with no less than 154 in any component
  • PTE Academic – Minimum Overall score of 46 (with a minimum score of 50 for writing)
