This two-year vocational pathway focuses on developing graduates with strong creative and technical skills. Game Art students work on a series of game projects with Designers and Programmers to develop their game development and teamwork skills.

REQUIREMENTS

Entry for this course is based on:

  • Overseas applicants must be over 18 in order to be eligible for study at AIE.
  • Copy of your Year 12 Certificate OR by achieving an Exit Level 3 score within the Australian Core Skills Framework assessments in reading and numeracy.

English Language Requirements

An IELTS overall score of 5.5 (with a minimum score of 5.0 for Writing, and 6.0 for Listening).

The AIE was established in 1996 and has campuses in Sydney, Melbourne and Canberra. The Melbourne campus offers an Advanced Diploma of Professional Game Development and an Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media (3D Animation and Visual Fx). AIE also offers a part time Certificate III in Media (3D Animation) as well as short courses. The Melbourne campus is located within the Atari Building in Queens Road, Melbourne.
