Learning Outcomes:

Prosthetic Makeup: Students will acquire the skills to create complete prosthetic Makeup applications in a variety of materials: including Silicone, Foam latex and Prosaide Transfers.

Sculpture: Students will learn how to sculpt an prosthetic Makeup

Professional Portfolio Development: By the end of the course, students will have developed a professional makeup portfolio showcasing their diverse range of skills and creative abilities.

Bald Cap Application: Students will learn how to construct and apply bald caps flawlessly, enabling them to transform actors into bald characters or create unique makeup looks.

Colour Theory and Makeup Artistry: Students will comprehend colour theory principles and effectively apply them to achieve a range of character and Special effects Makeup applications

REQUIREMENTS

To Qualify for the CUA60620 Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media Candidates must have successfully completed of CUA51020 Diploma of Screen and Media (or equivalent)

Due to the specialized nature and popularity of the Advanced Diploma of Screen and Media, ACMUSE gives priority to its own Diploma Graduates before considering external applicants.

All applicants who have completed their Diploma of Screen and Media externally to ACMUSE will be required to undergo an interview process with the ACMUSE principal. During this interview you will display a portfolio of work that meets the course entry requirements.

ACMUSE recognises that everyone has different skills and experiences, so what we look for is potential through a body of creative work. This will shows conceptual, technical, self-motivation and organisational skills through to realisation and presentation. Further to your portfolio of work in areas of make-up design, we require evidence of the creative process showing a strong sense of colour, shape and form.
