COURSE DESCRIPTION

The Bachelor of Business (Management) prepares graduates for success in roles like office management, team leadership, and general management across industries. It equips students with skills in operations optimization, team management, and enhancing customer experiences. The program covers various aspects of business management, including marketing, communication, stakeholder management, accounting, and IT. Higher-level units focus on strategic planning, governance, and globalization. Electives allow students to tailor their studies. The goal is to produce knowledgeable, skilled, and capable business leaders. Structure Complete the degree by passing 24 Units grouped into three levels. Level 1000 includes 6 core and 2 specialisation units. Level 2000 has 3 core and 3 specialised units. Level 3000 comprises 5 specialised units and 1 capstone. Choose 4 electives from Levels 2000 and 3000 combined. REQUIREMENTS

International students must provide evidence of the following to demonstrate they have successfully met the educational entry requirements: Successful completion of Year 12 at the credit or above level as determined in Student Admission Policy (Appendix 1); or Recognised Foundation Studies course; or Successful completion of one year of accredited tertiary study at an Australian institution or Successful completion of Certificate IV in a related discipline or above or International Baccalaureate with a score of 24. If a student starts undergrad studies with another provider in Australia, they must meet the criteria and maintain satisfactory course progression. If progress is unsatisfactory, they might be offered a place through the Student at Risk program. English language equivalence requirements* For students whose secondary education was conducted in a language other than English: IELTS overall band score: 6.0 (no band less than 5.5) or equivalent (Refer to Appendix 2); or English for Academic Purposes Certificate of Proficiency from an Institute’s approved ELICOS provider.

The institute, which welcomes around 1500 students to its campus, holds several accreditations with accounting bodies in Australia and overseas. The Australian Institute of Higher Education is a partner of the Australian Computer Society and is committed to delivering quality education to provide an excellent student experience through top-notch facilities, student support services and teaching resources. In 2018, the institute was re-registered and all courses reaccredited. Student engagement and services are the institute’s priority. All of the institute’s students receive e-books for free, for each subject and also have access to support, both online and face-to-face. The institute also encourages peer-to-peer support and personal contact with academic staff.
