COURSE DESCRIPTION
This Course will provide students with an in depth understanding of International Business. It will focus on Marketing, HR, Finance, Accounting and Management. On completion, you will be able to perform in management positions in marketing, communications and HR roles. To graduate with the Master of International Business you must complete 12 subjects. To maintain flexibility, our MIB Offers nested qualifications – if students enrol but do not complete the entire degree, upon completion of the specified number of subjects they may exit with a lower qualification.
COURSE STRUCTURE
This course contains 8 core subjects in business and related fields. ASSESSMENT METHODS Assessment methods are designed to encourage learning, provide feedback and measure achievement of unit learning outcomes. Forms of assessment vary among units and include research reports, projects, essays, group work, presentations, problem solving and case studies as well as tests, quizzes and examinations. Students may be required to complete assessment tasks alone or in groups to encourage development of generic skills. Assessments generally require a written submission but may include an oral presentation. In capstone units, assessments may include industry engagement and an extensive report.
REQUIREMENTS
An Australian bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification, including an overseas qualification)
Completion of a graduate certificate or graduate diploma in any field, or
Completion of IMC’s Postgraduate Preparation Program
IELTS of 6.0 overall with minimum 5.5 in each band, or equivalent
IMC nominated English Provider (ELICOS) at English for Academic Purpose (EAP) Level 3 with a pass mark of 60%
Overall score of 60% with minimum CEFR B2 in each band
