COURSE DESCRIPTION
The IMC MBA is a generalist, broad-based advanced management degree that integrates management theory and business practice. Providing an integrated approach to management education, the MBA covers key functional business areas, including finance, accounting, marketing and human resources. The course also leads to an understanding of an organisation’s internal dynamics (leadership and strategy) and the complexity of the firm’s external economic environment.
Besides functional discipline knowledge, the IMC MBA is committed to developing cognitive skills and competencies. As part of its integrated approach, the ability to contextualise, identify issues, debate points of view, develop strategies, manage projects, convey messages (communication), work in teams (personal and collaborative skills) and engage in self-reflection are embedded in specific subjects, with progression from entry to higher order skill levels. The MBA also requires students to engage and grapple with ethical and social responsibility problems, which include ethical dilemmas, case studies and project writing.
The MBA displays program integration, where learning outcomes are mapped and measured against curriculum design and assessment to ensure that the program is cohesive and that all the graduate attributes are achieved. One distinctive feature of the IMC MBA is its reliance on real-life business problems, embedded through “active learning sessions” and a capstone business project.
Our MBA offers early exit awards at the Graduate Certificate and Graduate Diploma levels.
PATHWAY TO EMPLOYMENT
IMC’s MBA prepares graduates for senior and middle management positions in business (sales, marketing, finance, accounting, general management), government, non-profit and non-governmental organisations. Careers include general management, marketing, entrepreneurship and start-ups, consulting and operations. Other career paths may be open depending on the MBA electives chosen.
FURTHER LEARNING
Further and more specialised learning is available in a specialist MBA of 16 units (96 credit points). Specialisations currently offered are:
· MBA (Business Analytics)
· MBA (Digital Business Applications)
· MBA (FinTech Management)
All core units completed in the general MBA will be credited toward a specialist MBA. Depending on the electives completed, additional credits may be available.
REQUIREMENTS
An Australian bachelor’s degree (or equivalent qualification, including an overseas qualification),
Completion of a Graduate Certificate or Graduate Diploma in a relevant field, or
Completion of IMC’s Postgraduate Preparation Program
ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
IELTS Academic A minimum overall score of 6.5 with no individual band less than 6.0.
TOEFL Paper-based A minimum score of 570 with a score of 5 or better in the Test of Written English
TOEFL Internet-based A minimum score of 80 with minimum overall for SLR 20; W 22.
Pearson Test of English (Academic) (PTE) Minimum score of 58 with no communicative skill score less than 50.
IMC nominated English Provider (ELICOS) English for Academic Purposes at Advanced level

Top Education Institute was established in 2001 and is located in the Australian Technology Park, Sydney. It offers the Diploma in Management and deals with subjects like accounting, information systems, management and marketing. They also offer the Bachelor in Accounting (commerce), Master of Professional Accounting and the Master of Professional Accounting and Business of the University of New England. In addition, they are also approved providers of the Skilled Migration Internship Program- Accounting.
