COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Diploma of Business and Technology (DipBus) course offered by the Australian School of Accounting (ASA) provides a pathway to a Bachelor’s degree. This ASA course is designed to develop confident, competent and innovative graduates with the analytical, conceptual and technical skills to contribute to business success, in a working environment.
The Diploma of Business and Technology is a six (6) core unit course and two (2) electives to meet the requirements of the Australian Qualifications Framework (Level 5) and Higher Education Standards Framework. Candidates can choose to study part-time or full time.
This course provides students with a strong grounding in the knowledge, skills and application required for an introductory level to overall business studies requirements, whilst at the same time allowing students flexibility at the electives level.
Graduates can use this study as an entry into an Australian School of Accounting (ASA) Bachelor’s Degree or exit with an award.
The Diploma of Business and Technology provides Graduates with an introduction to a range of disciplines. Understanding core subjects such as organisational behaviour, introduction to programming and information systems, marketing, business law and business communication will provide Graduates with the opportunity to develop their communication and interpretation skills for further study or application in the workplace.

Diploma of Business and Technology Graduates will be advocates of lifelong learning as they further their careers through additional studies. This will be achieved through the development of core knowledge and skills gained whilst studying for a degree in the future and through further work experience. With this award Graduates would be able to apply for jobs such as:

REQUIREMENTS
An Australian senior secondary qualification with a satisfactory ATAR score of 55 (or International equivalent); or An accredited Tertiary Preparation Program (TPP) or a Foundation Year Program; or Admission to an undergraduate degree at an Australian university; or A completed qualification at AQF Level 5 (Diploma); or International Students must also meet the minimum English language requirement: IELTS Academic 6.0 with a minimum sub score of 5.5 in writing, reading, speaking and listening (or equivalent).
