Our design course helps develop and enhance your skills in graphic art, graphic design, visual communication, design thinking, human-centred design, product design and related design studies.
You can choose to study this course with a design focus, or a photography focus.
In our practical hands-on course you’ll develop design concepts using the design process and learn how to select the right techniques and media to communicate your ideas. You’ll learn theory, practical skills and design practices to develop artistic and professional solutions.
During our course, you’ll develop an understanding of graphic design techniques, colour application, typography and digital image production. You’ll also learn about design history, drawing and illustration techniques, photo imaging and visual effects and the principles of design applied to 2D and 3D forms.

REQUIREMENTS
International students must have Australian Year 11 or international equivalent with a pass.
PLEASE NOTE: Box Hill Institute only accept enrolments from international students who are 18 years of age or above at the time of course commencement.
A minimum IELTS overall score of 5.5 (Academic) or approved equivalent; TOEFL IBT Internet Based Test (IBT) overall score 49, Pearson Test of Academic English (PTE) overall 42; Cambridge English Advanced (CAE): 162-168.
EDUCATIONAL INSTITUTION
