COURSE DESCRIPTION

Program Aim

The Graduate Diploma in Business is a standalone qualification for professionals with ambition and drive who wish to develop their responsible and sustainable leadership skills. Learners of this course will gain a holistic strategic business point-of-view required to operate effectively in an increasingly competitive and changing global business world.

Students will learn to diagnose issues in real organisations, they will also start to explore the latest thinking and practices from leading organisations and research worldwide and evaluate emerging options in today’s business environment. The students of Graduate Diploma of Business will also get the chance to fine-tune skills in problem solving, ethical decision-making, communication and teamwork.

On completion of Graduate Diploma of Business graduate will be able to:

Analyse theoretical and practical knowledge of business disciplines and professional practice;

Generate sustainable and responsible solutions to complex real-world business challenges;

Collaborate responsibly to achieve individual and collective outcomes;

Effectively communicate specific business knowledge to non-business audiences;

Critically reflect on personal learning and business practice cognisant of stakeholders’ need.

Demonstrate discipline-specific knowledge and technical relevant to business decision making and the management of organisations and engage in lifelong learning specialisation in practice.

In addition to providing a pathway into Master of Business Administration, Graduate Diploma of Business will offer career benefits to graduates. The graduate of Graduate Diploma of Business will be eligible to apply for the following roles:

Business Analyst

Corporate Strategist

Program Coordinator

Business Unit Manager

Senior Administrator

Management Consultant

REQUIREMENTS

Successful completion of a bachelor’s degree from an Australian higher education institution or overseas equivalent.

Successful completion of a Graduate Certificate (or equivalent) in similar discipline from an Australian higher education institution or overseas equivalent.

Equivalent prior learning including at least five years relevant professional experience that demonstrates potential to pursue graduate programs.

Completion of a relevant postgraduate preparation program

English language requirement
IELTS 6.5 (or better) (no component lower than 6.0)
TOEFL (internet-based) Minimum overall score of 80
Pearson (PTE Academic) Minimum overall score of 58 with no band less than 50

Overall Cambridge English Scale score of 176 from C1 Advanced. No less than 169 in any paper.
