This course has been especially designed for International students wishing to package with one of our popular Health Sector Diplomas – Community Services or Practice Management. It offers all 3 specialisations to assist in gaining part-time employment at either an aged care facility or with a NDIS Disability Provider, while undertaking your studies at GeSS Education. REQUIREMENTS
Basic computer skills
120 hours of work placement is mandatory for this course and is undertaken upon 75% completion of course. Placement will be organised for the student. The following is required for work placement:
– maintenance of full COVID-19 vaccinations
– NDIS Worker Screening Check
– Completion of a Criminal History Check (yellow card) and application for a Blue Card (working with children check). Your current AFP documentation (police check) must be no older than 3 months prior to the start of study.
Students are interviewed during enrolment sessions to ensure suitability for this career choice.
