COURSE DESCRIPTION
The Graduate Certificate in Management will develop your capacity to pivot with purpose, to lead through uncertainty, and to manage your business or organisations through significant change.
This AQF Level 8 Qualification is based on real world experience and case studies, contemporary scholarly research, Biblical values, and the Christian intellectual tradition. Each unit of the four units within the Graduate Certificate aims to develop your knowledge, skills, and worldview to lead and manage in difficult times.
The Graduate Certificate in Management is delivered via a concentrated model, where students undertake one unit per study period of seven weeks. Students who enrol in subsequent study periods will complete the Graduate Certificate in Management in eight months.
Students will graduate with a solid foundational understanding of good management practice. For those that wish to continue, this Graduate Certificate is your pathway to further studies as part of the CHC Masters of Business Administration (MBA). The CHC MBA is especially relevant to managers of profit and not-for-profit organisations who need to gain management expertise, and for people in business seeking Christian input to do ministry in their business sphere.

COURSE STRUCTURE
The Graduate Certificate in Management consists of 4 elective units.
In planning their course, students must consult the Business Courses Guide for information regarding course rules and requirements, including unit prerequisite requirements.
REQUIREMENTS
Recent secondary education
Applicants with recent secondary education ore not eligible for entry to this course.
Vocational Education and Training (VET) Study
Applicants with vocational education and training (VET) study are not eligible for admission to this course.
Higher education study
Applicants with a Bachelor degree in any field, with at least two years (full-time equivalent) of specified management responsibility within the 10 years prior to application, are eligible for admission to this course.
Work and Life Experience
Applicants with work experience of at least six years (full-time equivalent) within the 10 years prior to application, with at least two years of specified management responsibility, are eligible for admission to this course.
Applicants for whom English is not their first language must provide certified documentary evidence that their secondary schooling, or tertiary studies of at least one year, was conducted in the English language or they have satisfactory results in an acceptable English Language Proficiency examination (see table below). Results are to be no more than two years old as at the commencement of the course of study.
- IELTS (Academic): 6.5 (at least 6.0 in all subtests)
- PTE (Academic): 59 (at least 51 in all subtests)
- TOEFL (PBT): 577
- TOEFL (IBT): 90 (at least 16 in Listening, Reading; 21 in Writing; 18 in Speaking)

Christian Heritage College was established in the year 1986 and is located at Mansfield in Brisbane. It is a private educational institution that offers a range of undergraduate and postgraduate courses in business, education & humanities, ministries, social sciences and Christian studies. The courses are offered in the form of diploma, bachelor, associate degree, graduate certificate and graduate degree programs. Some of the areas in which these courses are offered are accounting, marketing, youth studies, human education, and practical and Biblical studies.
