The Bachelor of Arts (Audio Production) course is perfect for students wanting to work as producers and specialists in a variety of audio production fields including live sound, recording, producing, and post-production.
The Bachelor degree can be completed fast-tracked over six trimesters (2 years) of full-time study or standard over nine trimesters (3 years) of full-time study.
THROUGHOUT THE DEGREE, YOU WILL
? Gain an in-depth understanding of audio engineering, live sound, and production
? Develop specialist studio recording and post-production skills
? Create professional-quality recordings
? Manage live audio production to a professional standard
? Explore new audio and music technologies
? Become AVID certified in ProTools
? Study on-campus or mixed*, with access to all of Collarts’ campus facilities
? Get real-life experience through 60 hours of industry placement in the Bachelor course
REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must be at least 18-years-old at course commencement
Successful completion of a senior secondary school certificate equivalent to Australian Year 12
ENGLISH LANGUAGE REQUIREMENTS
Our English requirement is an overall IELTS score of 6.0 (with no single band score below 6.0) for all the courses, except Entertainment Journalism and Creative Writing, where students are required to have an overall IELTS score of 6.5 (with no single band score below 6.0)
