Course Description
The Diploma of Community Services reflects the roles of community services workers involved in managing, coordinating, and delivering person centered services to individuals, groups and communities. This course is designed for learners to develop specialised skills to work autonomously within a range of areas and work under broad directions from senior management. At this level workers will gain required knowledge to work in roles ranging from coordinator to case manager or development of new business opportunities within the Community Services sector.

Course Structure
The units of competency (12 Core and 8 Electives) are delivered throughout the 104 Weeks (80 weeks of delivery inclusive of field placement and 24 weeks of holidays/break). All units of competency must be completed to receive a Diploma of Community Services qualification.
REQUIREMENTS
All International Students must have an English proficiency at IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
Upper Intermediate level of English completed in Australia. Successful completion of Crown Institute of Business and Technology’s Placement Test. Students must be 18 years and over to enrol.

Crown Institute of Business and Technology (CIBT) is a privately owned and operated educational institute located in North Sydney, Australia that provides educational and training services to international students. At present CBIT’s training programs are focused in English language which includes general English (both beginner and advanced) and IELTS preparation courses. It also offers diploma and certificate programs in hospitality, management and accounting, and financial services. CIBT runs only those courses which are accredited by the appropriate government bodies.
