COURSE DESCRIPTION

Course Description

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of information and communications technology (ICT) roles who have established specialised skills in a technical ICT function. Individuals in these roles carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field, working independently, as part of a team or leading a deliverable with others. They may apply their skills across a wide range of industries, business functions and departments, or as a business owner (sole trader/contractor).

Vocational Outcome

Successful completion of the ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology can lead to a range of possible career opportunities including ICT Office Manager, ICT Systems Administrator, Information Systems Office Manager and Office Systems Administrator.

Course Structure

The 20 units of competency (6 Core and 14 Electives) are delivered throughout 65 Weeks (45 weeks tuition and 20 weeks holiday). All units of competency must be completed to attain ICT50220 Diploma of Information Technology

REQUIREMENTS

This course is available for those students who have completed year 12 or equivalent. All International Students must have IELTS 5.5 or equivalent.
