The Diploma of Communication offers a wide range of unit choices that give you a lot of flexibility when you’re entering the second year of a relevant Deakin University degree. Areas of study include advertising, communications, criminology, journalism, digital media, public relations and more.

REQUIREMENTS
Entry to Diploma courses requires the successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent.
English Admission Requirements
- C1 Advanced (formerly Cambridge English: Advanced) – FCE Level B2;
- Deakin University English Language Institute (DUELI) – EAP 2;
- GCE O-level – C6;
- IELTS (Academic) including IELTS One Skill Retake – 5.5 (with no band score below 5.5);
- Pearson Test of English Academic (PTE): 42 (with no communicative skill less than 42)
- International Baccalaureate Diploma – Grade 4 in English;
- TOEFL iBT: 52 – Writing 19, Speaking 16, Listening and Reading 5.
