Graduates of this course will have the specialist knowledge required to understand and implement advanced software engineering techniques – design, implement and maintain IT systems using a well-informed software engineering approach and create high quality software in a systematic and efficient manner. Graduates may find employment in a wide range of industries including security and defence, education, aerospace, health, business and finance.

As a software engineer you will create, maintain and modify computer software as well as analyze current software products. You will also evaluate new programming tools and techniques.
Graduates may find employment in a variety of industries with the production of medium to large scale software.

REQUIREMENTS
Successful completion of a recognized 3-year Australian bachelor degree or overseas equivalent.
Overall IELTS band score of 6.0, with no band less than 6.0, or equivalent; TOEFL iBT: 60-78 with minimums (Reading 13, Listening 12, Speaking 18, Writing 21); Pearson (PTE): Overall 50 (no band less than 50); Cambridge-CAE: Overall 169 (no band less than 169).
