Undertake study in the basic medical sciences such as human physiology, anatomy, psychology and pathology, and develop specialised knowledge and skills in the use of exercise as a means of improving health or to enhance exercise, motor skill and movement performance.
What you will study
First year
A typical first year may include:
- core topics such as an introduction to exercise science, human bioscience, legal and ethical aspects of health care, nutrition, and physical activity and health
- topics in your choice of major specialisation.
Second year
A typical second year may include:
- core topics such as exercise prescription in motor control and learning, human physiology, psychological perspectives of health, and biomechanics
- further topics in your chosen specialisation area.
Third year
A typical third year may include:
- advanced topics in exercise science, psychology of exercise, health and behaviour change, and quantitative methods of social health research
- 140 hours of workplace experience
- further topics in your chosen specialisation area
Your career

REQUIREMENTS
Flinders University recognises international secondary schooling for direct entry to undergraduate programs.
Knowledge of SACE stage two biology or equivalent is assumed.
English language requirements
