This flexible course gives you exposure to a wide variety of health professions. The degree equips you with transferable skills and experience in a multidisciplinary environment, providing a strong foundation for your future endeavours in the healthcare industry or in further study.
What you will study
First year
A typical first year may include:
- core topics in legal and ethical aspects of health care, communication and interprofessional practice, human bioscience, and health practitioner practice
- introductory topics contributing towards your major
Second year
A typical second year may include:
- intermediate topics contributing towards your major
- study of the sociological and psychological aspects of health
- a selection of electives
Third year
A typical third year may include:
- core topics in qualitative and quantitative methods for social health research
- a health work internship
- advanced topics contributing towards your major
- a selection of electives
Your career

- TOEFL iBT: 72 Overall with 18 Speaking, 21 Writing;
- Pearson PTE Academic: 50 Overall with 50 Speaking, 50 Writing;
- Cambridge C1 Advanced: 169 Overall with 169 Writing, 169 Speaking;
- Occupational English Test (OET): 300 Speaking, 300 Writing; Duolingo (Up to and including Semester 2, 2024): Overall 95-100
