Study a Diploma in Business at Flinders University Academy, and you will gain direct entry into year 2 of a variety of Flinders Business degrees. You’ll study in the heart of our Bedford Park campus and be a Flinders student from day one, and benefit from all the support and campus activities available.
Our program ensures that you will build foundational skills in Marketing, Accounting and Finance without increasing the duration of your degree. You can complete the first year of a Flinders Business degree in a learning environment that is tailored to your unique learning needs and be ready to step into your career in 3 years.
What you will learn
Working in small groups with dedicated educators you will be exposed to English, Numeracy and Study Skills while learning specialist knowledge that will launch you into your destination degree.
Learning will be collaborative and engaging using the latest transition pedagogy techniques.
Students in the Flinders University Academy will be supported to develop their emerging identity in an Australian context. They will also work closely with students enrolled across the Academy to explore common areas of study and to facilitate transition to the Australian university environment.
Students study for either 8 months or 12 months.
- Taught by specialists, focussing on the needs of international students, and embedded in the College of Business, Government and Law for a seamless transition to your destination degree.
- This diploma will introduce you to the diversity of fields and careers within the Business sector.
- Both 8 month and 12 month options have the same course content but are delivered with different intensities.
- When you successfully complete your diploma, you will go straight into year two of your destination bachelor’s degree.

REQUIREMENTS
Successful completion of Australian Year 12 with minimum ATAR of 40 or a comparable educational level in your home country.
English Language Entry requirements
Overall IELTS score of 5.5 (no band below 5.0) or equivalent.
