This two year course is designed for those looking to upgrade their existing biology-rich knowledge, the Master of Science (Biology) teaches students the practical and theoretical aspects of biology, whilst simultaneously providing an understanding of professional and ethical responsibilities and boosting student awareness of social, economic, cultural and environmental aspects of biology in the global community. Select from a broad range of topics in the areas you love, and then complete a masters research project in your second year.

Because biology touches on so many potential career areas, you can really open up a broad range of opportunities from medicine and medical research, microbiology, bioinformatics, genetics – you’ll be able to find what you love whether it’s white or green biology career areas

REQUIREMENTS
Applicants must normally hold a bachelor degree or equivalent qualification in Biology or with a major in Biology or a closely related discipline. Knowledge of second year university level in Biology is assumed.

IELTS (Academic): 6.0 Overall with 6.0 Speaking, 6.0 Writing; TOEFL iBT: 72 Total score with 18 Speaking, 21 Writing; Pearson PTE Academic: 50 Overall with 50 Speaking, 50 Writing; Cambridge C1 Advanced: 169 Overall with 169 Speaking, 169 Writing; Occupational English Test (OET): 300 Speaking, 300 Writing, 300 Reading, 300 Listening; Duolingo (Up to and including Semester 2, 2024): Overall 95-100
