COURSE DESCRIPTION

This specialised program teaches all the technical and non-technical skills required to fly Multi-Engine Aircraft under Instrument Flying Rules. The course also covers the skills, knowledge, and experience needed to gain a Multi-Engine Aeroplane Class Rating (MEA).

Many pathways through aviation require a pilot to have the skillset to pilot an aircraft under the Instrument Flight Rules. It is a necessary qualification required to gain entry to the airlines. Throughout this course, you will learn to fly through challenging conditions using your instruments in our state-of-the-art Diamond DA42-VI. You will enhance both your technical flying skill as well as your non-technical skills in a challenging but rewarding journey.

An Instrument Rating allows you to serve as a Pilot-In-Command under the Instrument Flight Rules (IFR) during day and night flight operations. This advanced skill will enable you to take off, cruise and land in challenging weather conditions.
