COURSE DESCRIPTION

This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of information and communications technology (ICT) roles who have established specialised skills in the following technical ICT function.

Business analysis: designing and implementing technical requirements, quality assurance processes and contingency plans for businesses

Systems administration: reviewing maintenance procedures and support to help troubleshoot system applications

Individuals in these roles carry out moderately complex tasks in a specialist field, working independently, as part of a team or leading a deliverable with others.

After achieving this qualification, individuals could progress to Advanced Diploma of Information Technology qualification.

REQUIREMENTS

Applicants must be minimum 18 years of age at the time of commencement.

Successful completion of Australian Equivalent Year 12 qualification or higher.
Minimum IELTS score of 5.5 or PTE score of 42 or its equivalent.

Individuals may enter this qualification without any lower-level qualification or vocational experience.
