The qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialised knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesise information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.

After successful completion of your Advanced Diploma, you will have many other study options available to you. These may include Diploma or Advanced Diploma in other areas, or you may choose to undertake studies at higher education level.
REQUIREMENTS
Completed year 12 and have completed a Diploma or Advanced Diploma from the BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions) such as:
Diploma of Business
Diploma of Management
Diploma of Leadership and Management
Diploma of Marketing and Communication etc.
or have two years equivalent full-time relevant workplace experience in an operational or leadership role in an enterprise.
For Advanced Diploma level courses, the recommended minimum level of education is diploma or equivalent qualification or relevant vocational experience.
Generally, international students need an IELTS band score of 6.0, or recognised equivalent, to demonstrate their English proficiency for directly accepted as an Advanced Diploma student by Jabin Hopkins Institute of Technology (JHIT). Alternatively, students can join in this course:
– Having lower IELTS band score of 5.0 if they have ELICOS.
– Having no IELTS band score if candidate have successfully completed any diploma or higher qualification in Australia.
