This qualification reflects the role of individuals in a variety of information and communications technology (ICT) roles who have significant experience in specialist technical skills, or managerial business and people management skills.
Individuals in these roles carry out complex tasks in a specialist field, working independently, leading a team or a strategic direction of a business. They apply their skills across a wide range of industries and business functions, or as a business owner (sole trader/contractor).
It provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to plan, design, manage and monitor an enterprise ICT and Telecommunication systems as an independent or as part of a team.
The course at JHIT can be completed standalone as “Advanced Diploma of Information Technology” or with any or both of the following specialisations:

ICT60220 Advanced Diploma of Information Technology (Cyber Security)
REQUIREMENTS
There are no entry requirements for this qualification but candidates require information technology knowledge and skills to cope with the standard of the qualification. Preferred pathways into this qualification.
For this advanced diploma level course, the pathway from Diploma of Information Technology is highly recommended until candidate has relevant experience.
Generally, international students need an IELTS band score of 5.5, or recognised equivalent, to demonstrate their English proficiency for directly accepted as an Advanced Diploma student by Jabin Hopkins Institute of Technology (JHIT). Alternatively, students can join in this course:
– Having lower IELTS band score of 5.0 if they have ELICOS.
– Having no IELTS band score if candidate have successfully completed any diploma or higher qualification in Australia.
