This qualification reflects the role of workers in a range of community settings and clients’ homes, who provide training and support in a manner that empowers people with disabilities to achieve greater levels of independence, self-reliance, community participation and wellbeing. Workers promote a person-centred approach, work without direct supervision and may be required to supervise and/or coordinate a small team.

REQUIREMENTS
To enrol in this course, applicants should submit:
Completed and signed ‘Application for Enrolment Form’;
Prerequisite certificate III Individual support;
Certified transcripts of academic records including the last two years of schooling;
Certified evidence of completing year 12;
Certified evidence of date of birth/Passport;
Certified evidence English language proficiency;
Letter(s) of recommendation from teacher(s) (if available);
Minimum Age Requirement: 18 years of age;
Unique Student Identifier (USI)- application for USI is done at the time of enrolment into the course.
An International student’s English proficiency is required to be evidenced by a recognised English Language testing score IELTS = 5.5 or equivalent.
