The Master of Information Technology is suitable for students who want to develop the technical efficiency to become a sought-after expert in a high-growth industry. It will provide you with the ability to apply a range of technological and programming concepts and tools to implement IT-related business solutions to industry problems. You will learn how to communicate complex technological problems, solutions and outcomes to diverse stakeholders. You will also be taught how to safeguard the privacy of data and information, create and manage databases and ensure the ethical handling of business information. The course will enable you to graduate with the skills to construct, manage and operate in diverse expert teams to oversee technological initiatives.?

The course is designed so that students are eligible for substantial credits into recognised postgraduate courses in Australia that specialise in information technology or that have space for unspecified electives.
REQUIREMENTS
A Bachelor Degree (or AQF Level 7 equivalent course); OR An Advanced Diploma/Associate Degree (or AQF Level 6 equivalent course) plus evidence of a minimum of two years’ relevant industry experience.
ENGLISH ENTRY REQUIREMENT: Academic IELTS- Overall 6.0, with not less than 6.0 for Speaking and Writing and 5.5 for Listening and Reading OR KITE (Kaplan International Test of English) – Score greater than 426 Overall for listening, reading and grammar, and B2 for speaking and writing; OR PTE (Pearson Test of English Academic) – Academic Score of 50 OR TOEFL iBT (Test of English as a Foreign Language- 60 OR Cambridge (Cambridge English: Advanced from Cambridge ESOL) – 169.
