COURSE DESCRIPTION

This qualification is designed to meet the needs of builders and managers of small to medium-sized building businesses. This course is designed to meet the needs of builders and managers of low-rise building businesses. Further development in our on-site and practical work area and experience on real construction sites of our industry partners; you will gain top quality practical experience.

We provide aim to prepare our students for the workforce. This certification is offered as an on campus course, meaning students will spend time learning in class for theory knowledge and practice skills.

This course is designed to meet the needs of builders and managers of small to medium-sized building businesses. Further development in our on-site and practical work area and experience on real construction sites of our industry partners; you will gain top quality practical experience.

Our graduates of this course are well developed in advanced building techniques and operations management, with highly valuable on-site experience from our residential and commercial construction projects in the city.

Pathways

Upon completion of the CPC40120 Certificate IV in Building and Construction, graduates may undertake other trade qualifications or progress the CPC50220 Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) or other qualifications.

REQUIREMENTS

Must be 18 years old or over.

Academic Entry Requirement: Must complete high school Year 12 or equivalent and above.

Successful Completion of Certificate III in relevant trade course.

English Entry Requirement: Academic IELTS Score overall 5.5 (no lower than 5 in each band); or equivalent, or Liberty Construction College internal ACSF/ LLN Test result score overall level 3.

Any AQF Qualification at the Certificate III level or above in any discipline area delivered and assessed in English will be deemed as meeting both the academic and English entry requirements.

Students who do not possess a valid official English test result can take Liberty Construction College online LLN Test.
