The Bachelor of Business will introduce you to a broad range of foundation and future-focused business units that will equip you for the jobs of tomorrow in a wide range of industries. In addition, you’ll develop a valuable set of employability skills – leadership, strategic thinking, problem solving, communication, teamwork, and sustainable and ethical thinking – which are highly sought-after in today’s rapidly evolving global business landscape. In the Bachelor of Information Technology, you’ll acquire foundational skills in programming, data storage and modelling, networking and cybersecurity. You’ll develop broad and coherent knowledge and skills from an area of information technology – such as software design and construction, applied data modelling and analysis, or security problem detection and mitigation – and learn how to apply that knowledge to solve real-world problems. And you’ll learn how to relate your knowledge and skills in information technology to a broader societal context, and make sound decisions regarding ethical and security concerns.
