Summary
The Bachelor of Economics will provide you with a sound understanding of today’s complex economic environment and the skills to design economic systems that promote welfare, fairness and sustainability. You’ll learn about how modern economies operate, trade and grow; the role of prices and markets in allocating scarce resources; and the sorts of policy interventions that can be introduced when economic outcomes are less than optimal. Innovative in its approach to understanding contemporary social, urban and environmental issues in urban and regional planning, the Bachelor of Planning focuses on recognising the social and cultural diversity of places, and the importance of cross-cultural approaches to research, plan-making and impact assessment.
