The world is getting smaller. Borders are blurring. Countries are becoming more interdependent. Globalisation, cross-border trends and foreign policy are affecting society more now than at any other time in history. We are truly a global community of citizens, and so the ability to understand, evaluate and engage with global problems and world issues across the social, cultural, political and economic spectrum is a highly valued skill.
The Bachelor of International Studies, which combines the study of cultures and global society with the acquisition of advanced foreign language and communication skills and knowledge about global diversity and mobility, will equip you with transferable intercultural skills that are highly valued in today’s globalised job market.
