Summary
The Bachelor of International Studies, which combines the study of cultures and global society with the acquisition of advanced foreign language and communication skills and knowledge about global diversity and mobility, will equip you with transferable intercultural skills that are highly valued in today’s globalised job market. Macquarie’s world-leading Bachelor of Ancient History – the longest-running and broadest of its kind in Australia – allows you to immerse yourself in the culture and languages of the ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern worlds, both on campus and at archaeological dig sites overseas.

Complete a session-long overseas experience
Undertake a session-long, in-country study program to enhance your learning within global environments. Discover a country’s culture in addition to learning a language
Be proficient in your target language and gain knowledge of the society and culture of the countries where that language is spoken. Undertake the only degree of its kind in Australia
Study the only degree in Australia offering a full study of Egyptology, Greece, Rome, Late Antiquity and Byzantium. Study ancient languages, and pursue your own research interests
