People with skills in science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM) are in demand across the globe. Preparing the next generation of talented workers requires teachers who can inspire a love of STEM. High-quality teachers are important role models – guiding students during what can be an exciting and challenging time in their lives.
In the Bachelor of Science component of this degree, you’ll combine a major in the discipline of your first teaching subject with a second science teaching subject. The Bachelor of Education (Secondary) component provides you with the equivalent of two years full-time professional study. You’ll be taught by academics who are researching the latest approaches to teaching, learning and science. Macquarie is a leader in educational research, particularly in the areas of information and communication technology, and maths and science.
