Our practice-oriented Bachelor of Security Studies will prepare you to meet the needs of this rapidly changing sector by teaching you about security from a range of perspectives, including risk management, emergency response, national resilience, business continuity planning, law enforcement and the use of military force. And by learning to think critically and develop solutions by using real-world analytical techniques to examine contemporary security challenges, you’ll gain key employability skills. Macquarie’s world-leading Bachelor of Ancient History – the longest-running and broadest of its kind in Australia – allows you to immerse yourself in the culture and languages of the ancient Mediterranean and Near Eastern worlds, both on campus and at archaeological dig sites overseas.
