Our practice-oriented Bachelor of Security Studies will prepare you to meet the needs of this rapidly changing sector by teaching you about security from a range of perspectives, including risk management, emergency response, national resilience, business continuity planning, law enforcement and the use of military force. And by learning to think critically and develop solutions by using real-world analytical techniques to examine contemporary security challenges, you’ll gain key employability skills. The Bachelor of Cognitive and Brain Sciences – the only degree of its kind in Australia – will provide you with a strong foundation in the rapidly growing fields of cognitive science, neuroscience and computation, with an emphasis on building your critical-thinking and research skills in areas such as science communication, statistics and programming.
