COURSE DESCRIPTION
Summary
Renewable energy and electrical engineering explores the intersection between sustainable energy technologies, power systems and electrical engineering principles. The career prospects for graduates in this field are robust – Australian engineering job vacancies have hit a 10-year high; and in India and China, growth is expected to exceed more than 20 million new engineers over the next decade.
The Master of Engineering (Professional) in Renewable Energy and Electrical Engineering is uniquely focused on developing the professional competencies required to work as an engineer in Australia and abroad. Through a blend of theory, practical applications and hands-on projects, you’ll acquire the skills to drive the transition to a cleaner and more sustainable energy future. You’ll also develop capabilities in leadership, ethics, and workplace health and safety, so that you’re well-prepared to drive innovation within your organisation.
This degree is seeking accreditation with Engineers Australia, which will enable entry to professional engineering practice for bachelor graduates who don’t have Washington Accord accreditation status.
