This qualification reflects the role of hairdressers who use a range of well-developed sales, consultation and technical skills and knowledge to provide a broad range of hairdressing services to clients. They use discretion and judgment to provide client services and take responsibility for the outcomes of their own work.
This course will cover basic aspects of hairdressing relating to the preparation of clients, styling, conducting salon financial transactions, recommending products and services and applying and removing hair colouring products.
This qualification provides a pathway to work as a hairdresser in any industry environment, usually a salon. Work is typically conducted in hairdressing salons TV, and Film media studios.

Enrolment Age: 18 years or older

REQUIREMENTS
Successful completion of minimum Year 11 in Australia or equivalent in student’s country of origin OR
Holders of an AQF qualification level II and above OR
Applicants with no formal qualification and have experience within the industry may also be considered.
Are 18 years of age or above
A minimum English level of IELTS 4 or equivalent is required for international applicants.
