BSB40920 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice has been designed as an entry course into practical project management skills and knowledge that could be applied in a wide variety of contexts.
Students will develop the ability to be members of a project team with no direct responsibility for overall project outcomes, supporting wider project operations. Students will be able to use project tools and methodologies selectively to support organisational or business activities.
DURATION
The Certificate IV in Project Management Practice duration is 52 weeks (40 weeks delivery plus up to 12 weeks term break).
DELIVERY STRUCTURE – A BLENDED MIX OF CLASSROOM AND ONLINE
The course is offered in a blended mode of delivery and assessment. This means students are required to attend 15 hours face-to-face full-time classroom study plus complete 5 hours of structured online learning every week.
The course is provided through the Mercury Colleges ELearn platform. Your teachers deliver lectures and tutorials face to face on campus plus students are to complete weekly study online through ELearn. Progress is tracked for every student.

EXIT POINT/AWARD
Students that successfully complete all 9 units of competency will be issued with BSB40920 Certificate IV in Project Management Practice by Mercury Colleges. This qualification is recognised nationally under the Australian Qualifications Framework (AQF).
REQUIREMENTS
International students must be over eighteen years old and provide evidence to demonstrate both academic and English language entry requirements as follows:
Academic Requirements:
Successful completion of Year 12 or equivalent and/or above
English Language Requirements as follows:
IELTS 6.0 overall (no less than 5.5 in each band) or equivalent test result, or General English / EAP at the Upper Intermediate level from an approved ELICOS provider
Any AQF qualification at the Certificate III level or above in any discipline area delivered and assessed in English only will be deemed as meeting both the academic and English language entry requirements.
