COURSE DESCRIPTION
Whether you’re in Regional NSW or the heart of Sydney, qualified engineering design draftspersons and construction supervisors are in high demand. The Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design is a nationally recognised qualification that will open doors across a range of exciting growth industries.
This qualification reflects the role of an individual working as a senior civil works designer or a para-professional designer, who supports professional engineers. They perform tasks that are broad, specialised, complex and technical and include strategic areas and initiating activities.
They are responsible for the design of complex projects to ensure the implementation of the client’s site requirements and are required to demonstrate self-directed application of theoretical and technical knowledge and initiate solutions to technical problems or management requirements.
ATHWAYS INFORMATION
Education Pathway:
Once students have completed the RII60520 Advanced Diploma of Civil Construction Design, they will be able to seek employment or continue their studies into higher education in construction, civil engineering, or any other field of their choice.

REQUIREMENTS
Be at least 18 years of age and have completed the equivalent of Year 12.
Provide all documents needed as per the enrolment process
Physically fit to complete mandatory work placement hours
Have an IELTS score of 6.0 (no band less than 5.5 – test results must be no more than 2 years old). English language competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence of any of the following:
Educated for 5 years in an English-speaking country; or
Successful completion of an English Placement Test
