This qualification is suitable for an Australian Apprenticeship pathway.
Completion of the general construction induction training program, specified in the Safe Work Australia model Code of Practice: Construction Work, is required by anyone carrying out construction work. Achievement of CPCCWHS1001 Prepare to work safely in the construction industry meets this requirement.

This qualification provides a trade outcome in painting and decorating for residential and commercial construction work.

Learning outcomes
On successful completion of this course the learners are going to be awarded CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating, which is a nationally recognised qualification.
Students who do not complete all units may be eligible for a Statement of Attainment in partial completion of the CPC30620 Certificate III in Painting and Decorating.
REQUIREMENTS
- All students must be aged 18 years or over at the time of applying for admission to the college.
- Satisfactory completion of studies in applicant’s home country equivalent to an Australian Year 11/12 qualification.
- IELTS band score of overall 6.0 (Academic or General) or equivalent in line with the Department of Education and DOHA regulations
