This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply specialized knowledge and skills, together with experience in leadership and management, across a range of enterprise and industry contexts.
Individuals at this level use initiative and judgement to plan and implement a range of leadership and management functions, with accountability for personal and team outcomes within broad parameters.
They use cognitive and communication skills to identify, analyse and synthesize information from a variety of sources and transfer their knowledge to others, and creative or conceptual skills to express ideas and perspectives or respond to complex problems.
Upon successful completion of all units in this course, students are eligible for the award of BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management.
This course is appropriate for those:
Local or international students who wish to higher level of broader skills and knowledge in Business Operations.
Persons who have been made redundant from the workforce and are wishing to make a career change and who are seeking to update their existing skill set.
Currently holding other BSB qualifications and who are seeking recognition of prior learning.
Persons who are wishing to re-enter in the workforce or those looking to make a career change and who are seeking to update their existing knowledge and skill set.
Upon successful completion of all units in this course, students are eligible for the award of BSB60420 Advanced Diploma of Leadership and Management. After completion of this qualification, students may be able to seek employment in various leadership and management roles such as: Area Manager, Department Manager or Regional Manager or similar roles however, attainment of this qualification doesn’t guarantee a job outcome. Qualification pathway:
After achieving BSB50420 Diploma of Leadership and Management, or other relevant qualifications or units equivalent to the core of BSB51918 Or a Diploma or an Advanced Diploma from a range of other BSB Training Package (current or superseded equivalent versions) for this course.
After achieving Australian high school certificate or Diploma or higher AQF level of qualification.
This includes any qualification completed, as listed in the Academic and language proficiency requirements below. Applicants with relevant prior formal studies that satisfy part of the academic requirements of the course may be granted ‘credit’ and/or entry to the course with ‘advanced standing’.
