This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to install and manage small-scale networks, either as an independent network support technician or as part of a team. This course is appropriate for those:
Persons either domestic or international who want a foundation in information and communication technologies (ICT), particularly networking skills and knowledge to be network support personnel.
Persons who have been made redundant from the workforce and are wishing to make a career change and who are seeking to update their existing skillset.
Upon successful completion of all units of study in this course, students will graduate with the ICT40120 Certificate IV in Information Technology (Networking). Possible job titles relevant to this qualification include:

After achieving ICT30118 Certificate III in Information, Digital Media and Technology, or other relevant qualifications or units equivalent to the core of ICT30118 OR
With demonstrated vocational experience in a range of work environments in a network support role, including administrator, manager, operations analyst, operations, engineer/technician, or technician.
English language requirement:
